The location was like a hidden gem, with everything within a comfortable walking distance. The cozy atmosphere of the room had a traditional vibe, complete with a mattress on the floor. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities available. Checkout time was quite early at 10 am, which might not suit everyone. The small room lacked a view, and the bedding was the least comfortable I experienced during my time in Japan. Despite the bedding concerns, the Ryokan was clean and quiet. Plus, the host was helpful and even offered assistance with wifi issues after checkout. Would I return? Maybe, but with a bit of caution on the room choice.

Family atmosphere, exceptionally nice and affable employees during check-out. Beautiful, en suite room with futon bed. Unbeatable location, not too far from Yogenin Temple. 10 minutes' walk to the bus stop. Honestly nothing to complain about.

No onsen on site!!! A little dated!!! Not walkable from Kyoto station despite claims!!! Smaller rooms cramped for larger guests!!! Softer mattress might cater to different preferences!!!

The location proved ideal for getting a taste of local life while being close to major attractions! My host provided invaluable assistance with maps and offered wifi after checkout!
The room was somewhat small and felt cramped at times. I imagine larger travelers might find it less comfortable.

The location provided a tranquil atmosphere, just a few subway stops from the main attractions. The staff was cute and ensured a smooth check-in process. The room felt a bit cramped at times, particularly for larger guests, and the bedding wasn't the most comfortable. While there's no on-site dining, the fresh unlimited pancakes offered a good breakfast experience to start the day.
